Each man has him a spokesman and ethos
he hearkens to for all that which he does,
who speaks his reason, be it far or close
to that of those he’s near on any cause.
And very vindicated is the one
who speaks for him. His logos has no err,
and shines as brightly as the noonday sun;
and, see, he is so very quick to share.
Each man trusts his own spokesman knows it all,
and yields the floor when arguments awake.
But I have many spokesmen, and they fall
on every side of every given stake.
How do you all trust only one sole voice
when I can hear each one, and trust each choice?
