CLIV: Log off, turn off, go hug, get out, do good
"Log off, turn off, touch grass, go hug a family member, go out and do good in the community." -Governor Spencer Cox
The soldier and the pacifist were friends.
What? Did you think that this could never be?
Is malice all your poor heart still defends?
Or are you still as yet able to see?
The criers do enjoy to tell that tale—
of anger and of outrage in the street.
But I have known both parties to regale
the selfsame kindnesses whene’er we meet.
But soon we fail to see each soul as one.
and cease to walk down roads where others walk.
And that’s our faith and honor on the run:
for courage says to see each good—to talk.
Do not believe the criers on your screen.
Go see your neighbor, and, yourself, be seen.
