CXXI: A schedule for a season, for a time
A Monday for a dungeon and a drake,
a Tuesday bids the acolyte awake.
On Monday may the wizard write his spells,
and Tuesday is the day he rings church bells.
A Wednesday is for games, and laughing long,
a Thursday is for studying a song.
On Wednesday, midweek joys are what we bring,
and Thursday is the day we choose to sing.
A Friday is the day to fix a strike,
the day I do the things I didn't like.
For after Friday's over, foreman marks:
"Go do whatever want that your heart harks!"
A week like this is full of what is best.
At least for now. Let others do the rest.
