I learned it from Lydoria the fair

while giving chase across her pleasant plain,

while watching wisps of hazel colored hair

careen in all directions in her name.

For her, my longing breath would ebb and flow.

For her, my eyes would open and would close.

For her, my footfalls fell, and every throe

was blest, for 'twas for her I faced these woes.

But soon she fle…
