XXIV: Advice
He told me: wait, and do a simple thing.
Spend not thy time with ev’ry passing thought.
For many men will have something to bring,
but few have truly precious wisdom brought.
E’en those with great intentions fail to sow,
but banter words they’ve heard from those before.
It’s only those who’ve had the time to grow
can get you something that can raise your score.
